Festivities and fireworks to celebrate a much-anticipated visit
Québec City, August 22, 2018 – The Port of Québec’s cruise season will soon hit a high point with the inaugural visit of the Disney Magic, which will be calling from September 26 to 28. The Port and the City of Québec are rolling out the red carpet and inviting residents to join them in giving the Disney Magic a rousing welcome on its first official visit to Québec City.
Fairytale fireworks for a happily every after!
Place des Canotiers will be transformed into a place where dreams come true for this inaugural visit. On September 26th from 6 p.m. onwards, Disney fans of all ages are invited to dress up as their favorite Disney character and come enjoy entertainment and music near the cruise ship. The evening will culminate in fireworks presented by Créations Pyro, a sponsor of Les Grands Feux Loto-Québec. The pyromusical show will light up the sky above Cap Diamant and the Plains of Abraham, near the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac.

To properly celebrate this first visit by a Disney Cruise Line ship, the Port and the City of Québec are working with major partners such as Croisières AML, Créations Pyro, Radio-Canada Québec, and Commission de la capitale nationale du Québec.

The arrival of the Disney Magic is a historic moment for the cruise industry in Québec and Eastern Canada and is sure to raise the international profile of Québec City and its port.
