The new season keeps the community in mind, offering people new ways to relax, get moving, celebrate, and enjoy the arts in a unique natural location alongside the river.

An Accessible Site Rooted in its Community
In keeping with the orientations announced over the past few months, the Port of Québec confirms its desire to make the Baie de Beauport more accessible, inclusive, and vibrant than ever.
Entry remains free of charge, a key measure to democratize access to an iconic site for the region and encourage the public to take ownership of the river.
The Baie de Beauport is an incredibly unifying place. In taking over its management, we wanted to make it an even more open and vibrant space, with deeper roots in its community. This first full season is an invitation to reclaim the river, to come together and fully enjoy this incredible location.
A Long-Term Vision for the Baie
This 2026 season is part of a broader vision for the sustainable development of the site, in line with the Port’s strategic plan and its City-Port Vision.
In addition to the programming, the Port intends to continue developing the Baie de Beauport as a place of:
- Peaceful coexistence between recreational and port activities
- Tourism and economic vitality
- Distinctive, accessible experiences along the river
A New Tool for Planning Visits
As part of its efforts to enhance the visitor experience, the Port of Québec is also launching a brand-new website for the Baie de Beauport. This simple, intuitive, and inspiring platform lets visitors see the full schedule of events, learn about the activities available, and find practical info for their visit in just a few clicks. It’s a wonderful reference for fully enjoying the Baie all season long.
A Lively Summer 2026 for the Entire Port
The opening of the season at the Baie de Beauport also heralds the start of a lively summer program across the entire Port. Over the coming weeks, the riverbanks will come alive and the community will enjoy chances to connect with the Port as iconic sites like the Agora, the Oasis, La Cale, and the Port of Québec Marina start offering an array of exciting activities, events, and experiences.

About the Port of Québec
The Port of Québec is strategically located 1100 km from the Atlantic Ocean, close to the Great Lakes market. It is the last deepwater port in the St. Lawrence corridor, with a depth of 15 metres. This unique position allows Canadian companies to achieve significant economies of scale in both import and export trade.
With links to more than 40 partner countries, the Port of Québec and its employees handle an average of over 26 million tonnes of goods every year, representing a commercial value of over $15 billion.
The Port is also recognized as the leading cruise port on the St. Lawrence; along with all its partners in Québec’s maritime industry, it contributes to $2 billion in economic spin-offs while supporting some 12,000 jobs nationwide.
The Québec Port Authority (QPA) is ranked 4th out of the 17 Canadian port authorities in terms of revenue. While it is economically powerful, it is also known for its contributions to the area’s urban and social fabric thanks to port spaces like the Agora, the Oasis, the Baie de Beauport, La Cale, the Discoglace, and the Village Nordik.
