More than ever, the Baie is ready to become a major summer gathering place for Qu\u00e9bec City residents and visitors alike, with plenty of inclusive and accessible activities to enjoy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>The new season keeps the community in mind, offering people new ways to relax, get moving, celebrate, and enjoy the arts in a unique natural location alongside the river.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-heading js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Activities for All Tastes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>From June to October, the Baie de&nbsp;Beauport will come alive with a plethora of accessible events:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-list js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wellness activities like outdoor yoga and Pilates classes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lively themed nights, including Apereau events and the popular country nights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Family sports days, including themed days, tournaments, and leagues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unifying cultural experiences like Cin\u00e9plage and special events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A series of signature events throughout the summer, like opening day, Saint-Jean festivities, Afrobaie, Baie en mouvement, and numerous festivals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>The program also features local initiatives, collaborations with local partners, and pop-up events to make visitors\u2019 time at the Baie even better.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-heading js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An Accessible Site Rooted in its Community<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>In keeping with the orientations announced over the past few months, the Port of Qu\u00e9bec confirms its desire to make the Baie de&nbsp;Beauport more accessible, inclusive, and vibrant than ever.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>Entry remains free of charge, a key measure to democratize access to an iconic site for the region and encourage the public to take ownership of the river.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<div class=\"item block-quote component-block-quote\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"block-quote__container container\">\n\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"block-quote__element\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"block-quote__text wysiwyg\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Baie de Beauport is an incredibly unifying place. In taking over its management, we wanted to make it an even more open and vibrant space, with deeper roots in its community. This simple, intuitive, and inspiring platform lets visitors see the full schedule of events, learn about the activities available, and find practical info for their visit in just a few clicks. It\u2019s a wonderful reference for fully enjoying the Baie all season long.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-heading js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Lively Summer&nbsp;2026 for the Entire Port<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>The opening of the season at the Baie de&nbsp;Beauport also heralds the start of a lively summer program across the entire Port. Over the coming weeks, the riverbanks will come alive and the community will enjoy chances to connect with the Port as iconic sites like the <a href=\"https:\/\/agora.portquebec.ca\/en\/\">Agora<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/loasis.portquebec.ca\/en\/\">Oasis<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lacale.portquebec.ca\/en\/\">La&nbsp;Cale<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/marina.portquebec.ca\/en\/\">Port of Qu\u00e9bec Marina<\/a> start offering an array of exciting activities, events, and experiences.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">&#8211; 30 &#8211;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-heading js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About the Port of Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>The Port of Qu\u00e9bec is strategically located 1100&nbsp;km from the Atlantic Ocean, close to the Great Lakes market. It is the last deepwater port in the St.&nbsp;Lawrence corridor, with a depth of 15&nbsp;metres. This unique position allows Canadian companies to achieve significant economies of scale in both import and export trade.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>With links to more than 40&nbsp;partner countries, the Port of Qu\u00e9bec and its employees handle an average of over 26&nbsp;million tonnes of goods every year, representing a commercial value of over $15&nbsp;billion.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>The Port is also recognized as the leading cruise port on the St. Lawrence; along with all its partners in Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s maritime industry, it contributes to $2&nbsp;billion in economic spin-offs while supporting some 12,000&nbsp;jobs nationwide.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph js-anim js-anim-scroll-top\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>The Qu\u00e9bec Port Authority (QPA) is ranked 4<sup>th<\/sup> out of the 17&nbsp;Canadian port authorities in terms of revenue.
