Qu\u00e9bec City, June 19, 2025<\/strong> – As it heads into a new chapter, the Port of Qu\u00e9bec is looking back on 2024, a year of dedication, innovation, and performance. With Olga Farman officially taking the helm at the start of 2025, the Port is aiming to become a strategic partner in the future of logistics chains, to reinvigorate dialogue with the community and become a point of pride for the city, and to position itself as a major economic driver for the Capitale-Nationale region for the benefit of citizens and businesses alike.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

In 2024, the Port of Qu\u00e9bec handled 26.5 million tonnes of goods. While certain industrial sectors, like steelmaking, slowed, impressive increases in the agri-food and construction sectors allowed the Port to sustain high volumes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The Port also contributed over $2.1 billion in economic spin-offs and supported 12,000 direct and indirect jobs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\t\t\t
