Port of Québec to Welcome the Brilliant Lady in 2025, Jewel of the Virgin Voyages Fleet

05/01/2024

Québec, May 1, 2024 — The Port of Québec is proud to announce the arrival in October 2025 of the Brillant Lady, the latest jewel of the Virgin Voyages fleet, on the occasion of its maiden voyage to Canada. Built in 2023, this brand-new ship is 278 metres long, 13 stories high, and can hold nearly 2,800 passengers. It is one of the newest cruise ships in the world, designed by internationally renowned naval architects Fincantieri. This event confirms Québec’s standing as a choice destination for cruise lines. Virgin Voyages brings a new clientele that is younger and more diverse.

Virgin Voyages has also equipped its ship with an avant-garde environmental policy: unnecessary single-use plastics, such as water bottles, shopping bags, and non-reusable packages, are forbidden aboard ship. Strict measures are also implemented to greatly reduce food waste.
