Application of the Cannabis Act within port boundaries

Following the entry into force of the Cannabis Act, the Québec Port Authority (QPA) is responsible for taking necessary measures with respect to cannabis consumption within its boundaries, in accordance with the Canada Marine Act and the QPA’s letters patent. Cannabis consumption is therefore prohibited within Québec Port Authority boundaries given the nature of the commercial activities that take place there.
